soil & bliss farms

about soil + bliss farms:

We are a diverse small-scale Regenerative Farm nestled in the Sunnyslope wine region of Wilder, Idaho. The farm consists of a Permaculture Orchard and a Regenerative Market Garden.  Our goal is to provide the most delicious and nutrient dense food for you and your family.

about brenton:

He grew up on a conventional dairy farm in the Central Valley
of California. He contributes his work ethic to those 5am wake up calls during the summer for tractor duty and milking cows until 10pm. After spending 20 years away from farm life – attending an IVY League school in NYC, working in Corporate America, and owning his own business, Brenton heard the farm calling again.  He and his wife, Bonnie, moved to the Sunnyslope area of Idaho where Brenton built a small but impactful farm rooted with some new agricultural principles and practices to provide healthy food for local families.

about regenerative agriculture & permaculture:

Regenerative Agriculture basic principles are: 1) minimize soil disturbance, 2) maximize crop diversity, 3) keep the soil covered, 4) maintain living roots year-round, 5) integrate livestock.  Integrating these principles helps our soil retain more moisture, capture more carbon, and improve the nutritional quality of the food.  Permaculture is the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive systems that have
diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems.

“Farming with nature and producing nutrient dense
foods is my passion. Food is vitally important for our health and longevity.
Your food should have a face. You should know your farmer. Transparency should
be paramount.” – Brenton
